Description
StaffMD has a health system client in southern Ohio seeking a Medical Director for their Cardiac Testing Lab and Cardiac Rehab program. Must be ECHO boarded since the Cardiovascular Testing Department is IAC accredited. Preferred Nuclear and TEE boarded.

Practice details are as follows:
•  Hospital-employed position with Heart & Vascular Group
•  Group includes three Interventional Cardiologists, two Cardiothoracic Surgeons, one Vascular Surgeon, and four APs.
•  Must be ECHO boarded
•  Prefer Nuclear and TEE boarded
•  Case load includes Echocardiograms (15-18), Dobutamine Stress Echos (1-3), Stress Tests (1-3), Stress Echos (1-3), Nuclear Cardiolites (10-15)
•  MUGA scans done through Nuclear Med as resting scans
•  Anticipated to be in Cardiac Testing for 1/2 day (7a-12) every day reading echos while stress tests taking place
•  Patient volume - 15/day in office (1/2 day) or 30 if in office full-day
•  Call: every 4th night and every 4th weekend
•  CERP Call $75.00, come in $225.00
•  Two-year Contract includes: Two Salary Options:
o  Option 1: Base salary $419,000 (50%tile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional comp. for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target
o  Option 2: Base salary $532,000 - (75%tile MGMA) guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract
o  *Option 1 and 2: 5% less for those not yet boarded, salary adjusted upon board certification
o  Excellent bonus incentives up to 30% of salary
o  Sign-on bonus: $50,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2 years)
o  Med school loan repayment: up to $200,000 ($25,000 per service year)
o  Moving expense up to $10,000
o  PTO: 4 weeks plus holidays/sick days (29 PTO days); 5 more days with 75%tile wRVUs
o  Deferred comp and Retirement Plans both included
o  Health insurance: you pay a small premium deducted from paycheck
o  CME/Books & Journals: 5 days PTO and up to $5,000 annually
o  Malpractice insurance coverage
