Description
StaffMD has a large Mental Health center in Northeast Florida seeking a Psychiatrist to join their team. This position will provide services to their Adult Inpatient program and/or to their Outpatient comprehensive services center. Practice details are as follows: • BC/BE in Psychiatry
• FL license or license eligible
• Current DEA certification
• Provide diagnosis, medication, therapies, interventions and other approved treatment modalities for assigned caseload
• Assess patients in psychiatric crisis
• Ensure each patient has problem-oriented treatment plan with appropriate goals and objectives
• Participate in treatment team meetings
• Consult for other staff members providing clinical services
• Outpatient, 1:4 on call Inpatient
• Inpatient program:
• Psychiatric crisis stabilization units for Adult patients
• Many patients admitted involuntarily via the Florida Mental Health Act (Baker Act)
• Average inpatient length of stay is 4-5 days
• Outpatient services:
• Psychiatric evaluations
• Medication management
• Counseling services
• Employed position
• Base salary of $230,000, Negotiable DOE
