Description
StaffMD has a Hospital-affiliated Multispecialty group in Illinois seeking a BE/BC Geriatric Medicine physician to join an established Geriatrics practice. Practice details as follows:• BC/BE Geriatrics
• 4 Geriatricians in ambulatory clinic
• Geriatric fellows, NPs, and nursing staff support
• Geriatric Hospitalists to assist with hospital admissions
• Primary responsibilities include nursing home coverage and outpatient clinic
• Planned clinic schedule Mon-Fri 8a-5p
• Provide service in sub-acute, rehabilitation, and short-stay environments
• No visit or staffing requirements for assisted-care facilities, home visits, hospice or palliative care
• Hospital practice not required
• Call for your nursing home patients during the week
• Also 1:12 weekday/weekend geriatric service call for ambulatory clinic patients
• Opportunity for medical directorship
