Description
The Port Angeles Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (section of General Medicine Service within the VA Puget Sound Health Care System), is seeking a dynamic board-certified or board-eligible physician for the position of Primary Care for male and female veterans. The patient population ranges from young adult to geriatrics. The Incumbent will demonstrate proficiency in practice, planning, and self-direction in goal setting for managing each Veteran’s medical need. Candidates should be board-certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine, with experience in women’s health care. There are potential leadership opportunities.

Skills
In this position, you will provide comprehensive primary care for men and women veterans of all ages (20 to elderly). This includes management of a panel of patients providing preventive health care; primary care evaluation and management of medical conditions; and gender-specific primary care for women including (but not limited to) cervical cancer screening, basic gynecologic issues, contraception, pre-pregnancy planning, menopause care, and basic breast care.
