Join us in the beautiful Ozarks! Ozarks Medical Center seeks an anesthesia physician for its state-of-the-art Pain Management Center. Come be a part of the collaborative staff at this facility, which features the latest in technology, including a brand new C-arm, for interventional pain procedures.
The OMC Pain Management Center specializes in medical and interventional management of all types of chronic pain including back and neck pain from degenerative disc and joint disease, disc prolapse, spinal stenosis, cancer, reflex sympathetic dystrophy and post herpetic neuralgia. Services, treatments, procedures and activities performed at the center include:
• Follow-up clinic visits for chronic pain disorders
• Lumbar Sympathetic Blocks
• Facet Joint Infections
• Transforaminals
• Radio Frequency Ablations
• Peripheral Nerve Blocks
• Trigger point injections
• Joint Injections
• Medial Branch Blocks
• Vertebroplasy
• Spinal Cord Stimulators
• Teaching of postural maneuvers to modify pain symptoms

OMC is a 114-bed, not-for-profit medical referral center serving an 11-county area in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas with its main facility located in beautiful West Plains. OMC employs approximately 1,400 people and serves a population base of 180,000. With more than 100 doctors, OMC has a strong core of primary care physicians as well as numerous specialists. West Plains is also the national headquarters for Air Evac Life Team, a 14-state network of helicopter emergency health transport.
