We have private contracts at a few locations with part-time (short-term) as well as full-time (long-term) coverage openings being available. This are direct private contracts, with no ties to any of the major management groups! My organization does all of the staffing and scheduling for these locations and we can set something stable and ongoing up for someone!

We can use Hospitalist NP coverage starting as early as July 2019.
There will be ongoing coverage dates needed and available for someone looking for long-term!

GENERAL PRACTICE DETAILS:

We have 2 locations around Northeastern TN both are located North of Knoxville.
Tennessee Licensed Nurse Practitioner with prior Hospitalist based experience needed.
Perform evaluation and management services to patients requiring hospitalist services.
Develop treatment plans. Complete admissions.
Consult with ED staff on admissions.
Perform dictation of H&P examinations voice recognition.
Perform dictation of discharge summary and procedure reports.
Write progress notes Voice recognition.
Order routine and special laboratory studies.
Type orders for inpatient and outpatient medicine.
10 patients per day is the average Prefer at least 16.
25 bed Hospital. Average daily census is 3-5.
No ICU or trauma. Lower acuity patients. CPSI EMR.
Day shift with rounding in the morning and very light evening call.
