Nurse Practitioners – Physician Assistants
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform health assessments, medical histories and physical examinations; prepare physician orders, see follow-up patients independently; request/evaluate diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; provide patient education and instruction per supervising physician.
This environment requires a NP/PA who is decisive and an independent problem-solver with the ability to adapt positively to change yet is able to remain calm and tactful when engaged with a variety of personalities, sometimes under stressful conditions. Must communicate and work effectively with all levels of management, physicians, clinicians, related support staff, patients and customers. Possess excellent verbal, written and organization skills along with the ability to listen, understand and influence. Ability to respond effectively, meet deadlines and prioritize is essential. Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Master's Degree Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program, certified and currently licensed (or eligible for immediate licensure)in Wisconsin.
