Description
Psychiatric Physician Assistant or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for Florida. New Grads will be considered, but psych experience will be helpful
Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, PMHNP, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner all work for this position. Psychiatry experience would be helpful. New grads would be considered.full-time child and adolescent psychiatric nurse practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Fort Myers, Florida. The position is all outpatient with a great work-life balance with hours from Monday through Friday. Job Description: - NP will provide medication management and psychotherapy as needed.
- Psychiatrist will complete the initial assessment, but the NP will occasionally perform comprehensive evaluations and consultations as well.
- Treatment population includes 80% children and adolescents with a mix of private insurance, fee for service and Medicaid patients.
Requirements: - Graduation from an accredited program in the US.
- Active Florida medical license.
- Minimum two years experience with children/adolescents.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to quality patient care.
