Norman Oklahoma would be the best place to locate for the business in Oklahoma City and Ardmore, but candidate may live anywhere around the area to include Oklahoma City, Ardmore, Norman, etc. as travel will be necessary to service some of the clients in Nursing facilities.

 Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant  OR Clinical Nurse/Behavioral Health

 medical based program for nursing home facilities providing treatment for patients with special needs and chronic illnesses and behavioral health issues.- more care, more often and treated right where they live. It is an innovative approach to care for these individuals with special needs and treat them within the privacy of their own home
You will partner with patient’s primary NP/PA or CNS to care for patients who may show signs of behavioral health issues or mental illness.  They will be collaborating with primary care physicians/mid- level providers, families and nursing home staff members.
This program has been very successful in 13 counties of Southern Oklahoma for the past five years, and has expanded into Oklahoma City, as well as other states.  There are currently 10 nursing homes (6 in Ardmore and surrounding rural areas, and 4 in Oklahoma City).  They are expecting larger growth in Oklahoma City in 2016.  The company is also expecting to expand into Assisted living and home health in the near future.
5 day work week from 8A – 5P Monday-Friday with flexibility of scheduling.  Patients are seen on a case by case basis. (Once a week or Once a month on average).  Call rotation every 3 weeks @ $3.50/hr. and time and a half if called into the facility.
 The ideal candidate will be a certified NP/PA/ or CNS and have behavioral health/mental illness experience in an in-patient setting.
  • An understanding of Case Management and documentation of ICD-9 and CPT codes
  • A current license to practice or eligibility to practice in Oklahoma is a must.
  • Nurse Practioner with a a master's, postgraduate, or doctoral degree* from a family psychiatric–mental health nurse practitioner program or Physician Assistant/PMHNP or Clinical Nurse Specialist/PMHCNS-BC. 
  • Will consider a New Grad with certifications
  • Nursing Home or in patient experience is also required
  • A current DEA Certificate or eligibility for prescriptive rights is required
