JOB OVERVIEW: The Licensed Clinical Psychologist, will provide direct services and supervision. This may include individual and group treatment as well as screenings and brief interventions in primary care setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assume total responsibility for and provide a full range of psychological diagnosis and treatment services.
2. Develop innovative methods to provide psychological services and assist in their on-site implementation.
3. Develop programs designed to emphasize wellness and chronic disease management.
4. Evaluate overall effectiveness of therapeutic efforts and institute changes to increase effectiveness.
5. Evaluate appropriateness of treatment plans and goals.
6. Conduct therapy, monitor, and approve all treatment planning.
7. Provide clinical supervision of unlicensed behavioral health trainees.
8. Complete necessary steps to facilitate systematic third-party billing practice within identified clinic.
9. Participate in clinical supervisors’ meetings as scheduled
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Able to work through brief patient contacts, including via telephone and teleconferencing.
2. Possesses adequate skills to design effective psycho-education curricula and lead effective psycho-education classes.

3. Excellent working knowledge of clinical psychology, evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions, and ethnically diverse, rural, medically underserved populations.
4. Experience in the provision of supervision to psychology trainees
5. Experience in program development and evaluation
6. Good knowledge of psychopharmacology.
7. Language requirements: English
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. Doctorate in Psychology, Ph.D. or Psy.D.
2. Previous experience working with primary care providers using a consultative approach within an Integrated Behavioral Health Model.
3. Previous experience with Behavioral Medicine/Health Psychology.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
1. Eligible for credentialing with third-party insurance carriers.
2. Current Hawai’i licensure to practice as a Clinical Psychologist.
