 Immediate need for a Nurse Practitioner to join a well established Pain Management group. Lets Discuss

As an Practice Provider you'll play an integral role in our inpatient care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. we are dedicated to the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a patients pain. We are focused on listening to our patients' concerns, understanding their needs and truly providing the best care of each individual patient.

Provide pain care (acute and chronic pain care) for adult patients in an inpatient clinical setting. The Nurse Practitioner will demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with pain, including acute postoperative/traumatic pain, chronic non-cancer and cancer related plan conditions.
Evaluate and manage patients referred to the Acute and Chronic Pain and Inpatient Pain Services. The Anesthesiology Pain Service provides consultations and the development of a comprehensive pain management plans for patients with complex pain and is actively involved in perioperative analgesia for both adult and pediatric patients.
Shows compassion and respect for Patient Care
Work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary health team and function with a high degree of autonomy.
Can assist in Procedures such as Trigger point injections, joint and knee injections etc..
Work with a team consisting of a group of Physicians and nurse practitioners.
Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and assessments.
Records findings of examinations, assessments and develops plan of care.
Time management skills
Performs a wide range of minor pain and/or medical procedures.
Writes appropriate prescriptions and administers medications.
Orders and interprets laboratory and radiology examinations.
Documents all patient encounters, records observations, interventions, and actions in a medically appropriate manner
Acts as a patient advocate for the population served.
Attends, participates and contributes in group/practice meetings and development of policies and procedures as necessary.
