Immediate need for a BE/BC Psychiatrist to join a well eatablished Behavioral Health group 45 minutes outside of Charlotte. Lets Discuss

Psychiatrist Practice Highlights:
•  Full-time, health system-employed positions
•  Outpatient clinic across the street from the hospital
•  BH program provides:
o  adult psychiatric, and adult dual diagnosis services. Will also consider pediatric
o  80% Outpatient, 20% Inpatient rounding

Essential Credentialing Requirements:
•  Must have active NC medical license and DEA
•  Must be BC in Psychiatry (board eligible if new grad)
•  Ability to demonstrate an understanding of a variety of models and theories of addiction, mental illness, and related issues.
•  Knowledge of philosophies, practices, policies, and outcomes of models of treatment recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care for dually diagnosed populations.
•  Understanding of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care.
•  Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
•  Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
