POSITION SUMMARY:
This position requires interpretation of medical images such as ultrasounds and electrocardiogram rhythm strips to diagnose normal findings, identify disease processes, and/or make referrals for additional clinical testing.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and interpret medical images, as well as member medical histories to diagnose normal findings and the presence of clinical abnormalities.  
Document clinical findings in company’s electronic health record system.
Participate in quarterly meetings with Matrix clinical operations leadership in order to review and revise new and existing policies, and other information as it pertains to the department.
Consult with the Matrix Chief Medical Officer or other physicians during Quality Assurance Reviews.
Ensures safety and efficacy of all provider interpreting practices

Skills
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Requirements:
Licensed Medical Physician
Board Certified Cardiologist with completion of fellowship
Must have active, unrestricted license in the state of ______________
Five years’ minimum experience as a Physician
Experience working with mid-level providers
 
Required Skills and Abilities:
Significant experience with ultrasound imaging technology and reading electrocardiograms. 
Outstanding references indicating a strong history of ethical patient care, exemplary job performance, outstanding collaborative skills, and technical excellence
Detail oriented with a passion for precision
Must be proficient with utilizing electronic documentation systems to obtain images and provide interpretation reports.
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Work Conditions: Home or Private Practice office environment.

Hours: Flexible schedule.  No-call.  Sunday - Saturday
