Description
A new gastroenterology physician opportunity is now available in northern New Mexico at a multispecialty group. You will work Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm with a shared call schedule. You will join 2 other gastroenterologists on the team and cover 1 hospital. The incoming physician will see an average of 20 patients per day. On-site equipment includes an Olympus scopes and tower, OPGI capability, and software and equipment for imaging small bowel capsules. They prefer a physician that can read esophageal motility and pH probe studies. This hospital-employed position offers a base salary starting at $575K+, quality incentive potential, and a productivity bonus based on RVUs. You will also receive a sign-on bonus, loan repayment, malpractice insurance, medical/dental/vision benefits, life insurance, 29 days of PTO per year, 5 days of CME plus $5,000, 401(k) and 403(b) tax annuity/pension benefits, and relocation assistance.
