Description
CompHealth is currently assisting a Wisconsin health system with their search for a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon due to growth. They perform 300 open-heart procedures annually with a 35% growth in volume over the past 2 years. The incoming physician will work at an established practice with an established referral base from more than 150 primary care clinicians and 20 cardiologists. The call schedule will be 1:3 weekdays and 1:5 weekends. You will work with 2 cardiothoracic surgeons and 4 cardiothoracic surgery APCs who assist in the OR and see patients in the clinic and hospital. Enjoy top of the line CT capabilities and a full service nuclear program with SPECT/CT capabilities. This opportunity is a salaried position with wRVU production added on top of the base.
