Description
A hospital in New York needs an additional hem-onc or med-onc. This position will be a combination of medical directorship, blood disorder, and solid tumor duties. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm in the outpatient clinic and chemo supervision, and Friday will be an administrative day. Although this is a solo role, call will be on the lighter side and there will be additional AAP assistance with the calls. The incoming physician can expect to see 12 to 18 patients per day on average. The cancer center contains an exam suite, resource center for patients, an infusion center, oncology pharmacy, and telemedicine conference room. Join a radiation oncologist on staff with a new Varian TrueBeam has been installed. This hospital-employed position offers a generous compensation package with sign-on bonus.
