We are seeking a qualified Observation Unit Director for an immediate opening in Bradenton, FL! The Nurse Director assumes 24 hours responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of Observation Unit . The Nurse Director directs, supervises and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff, contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff, and he/she supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department. The Nurse Director plans and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the Divisional Director of Nursing. The Nurse Director integrates evidence based practice utilizing the nursing process. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:
BSN required; MSN preferred
Current Florida State RN Licensure
BLS required Certification in specialty preferred
ACLS
Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards preferred.
