Description
Leading health system is seeking BC/BE Child & Adolescent psychiatrists in Palm Beach, FL. Work a regular schedule, not 7/7. One weekend/2 weekend days per month required. Opportunity for medical directorship, PHP. Adult, Geriatric & Child/Adolescent Psychiatrists considered. Position requires a medical degree, Florida physician license, and completion of a 4-year psychiatric residency.
This is a physician led practice with innovative approaches to maximizing your time for actual patient treatment. Therefore, you personally are not being inundated with the administrative responsibilities associated with today's health care system.
Overall responsibilities will include: - Leading experienced clinical teams
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations
- Establishing diagnoses, prescribing medication, and providing therapy
- Daily care of patients in PHP/IOP
- Collaborating with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses and psychiatrists
Qualifications:
- Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist that is BE or BC
- Experience in managing clinical teams
- Skilled in the evaluation and treatment of mental illness
- Experience with Psychopharmacology
