Description
Pharmacist Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a full-time Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. These services will be in support of Beale Air Force Base in Yuba City. Position Details: - Full-time opportunity, 40 hours per week. - Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day - Employed position, eligible for a full complement of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, paid Federal Holidays, 401k and more - Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures in accordance with clinical privileges granted by the commanding officer - Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications. - Review patient profiles at the time of dispensing in order to closely monitor medication therapy. - Ensure prescription directions for use, dose, medication interactions, therapeutic duplications or overlaps, allergy information, age specific dosage, and other pertinent data are appropriate for individual patients. Intervention with providers shall be made for noted discrepancy of above listed items. - Compound medications as required. - Perform timely, accurate, and concise documentation of patient care Position Qualifications: - BLS - Doctor of Pharmacy (Phar.D..) Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE). Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy or documentation of appropriate education, training, and/or CME in the practice of clinical pharmacy - Any state license - Board certified Company Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
