Community Health Center that has provided access to high quality, affordable health care for children and adults of all ages — regardless of their ability to pay for 50 years is seeking full time experienced, Board Certified Psychiatrist to join their team.
- Behavioral Health Services supports cultural diversity and clinical excellence. With a team of bicultural, bilingual experienced clinicians, treatment is provided for children, adolescents and adults through individual, group, couple, and family therapy sessions. The diverse backgrounds, orientation and specialties of our clinicians enable the Health Center to provide an individualized approach to the problems that confront clients.

- To evaluate the physiological, neurological, psychopharmacological and psychiatric status of the program's clients, including all referrals, from age 5y/o.
- To prescribe and monitor psychotropic medication.
- To participate in the development of diagnostic formulations and treatment plans, as well as weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- To provide direct psychotherapy, when indicated.
- To participate in utilization review and quality management programs.
- To coordinate the program's relationship with hospitals and to provide general consultation to all staff as required.
- To provide oversight/supervision and consultation for Nurse Prescribers.

Compensation & Benefits:

The Community:
This Massachusetts city lies on the banks of the Merrimack River, about 30 miles northwest of Boston. Together with Cambridge, the city shares the role of county seat of Middlesex County. Nearby towns include Tewksbury, Billerica, Chelmsford, and Tyngsboro. Opportunities for outdoor recreation abound. The Merrimack and Concord Rivers provide fishing, canoeing, sailing, water skiing, and high quality white water rafting. The Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsboro State Forest offers six miles of trails ideal for hiking, jogging, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. The Vandenberg Esplanade is a prime venue for walking, biking, swimming, and picnicking along the banks of the Merrimack River.
