Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting a general neurosurgeon in San Antonio, Texas to join our energetic, world-class team. Qualified Candidates: MD/DO Must be US board eligible/certified in neurosurgery General neurosurgery to include cranial and spine Trauma experience a plus Experienced and new grads encouraged to apply Incentive/Benefits Package: Over 3,000 neurosurgeries performed at Methodist Healthcare hospitals annually Each adult hospital maintains a designation as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission Competitive salary driven by MGMA data and industry benchmarking Comprehensive benefits to include health, dental and vision Retirement savings program with employer matching program Paid malpractice No state income tax About Methodist Healthcare System: Methodist Hospital: 811 bed facility, 27 operating suites, including Bi-plane suite and hybrid OR, Nationally accredited Level III Trauma Center Methodist Hospital - Metropolitan: 338 bed facility, 12 operating suites and cath labs, include Bi-plane suite Methodist Hospital - Northeast: 207 bed facility, 5 operating suites, and 3 cardiac cath labs, including Bi-plane suite and hybrid OR Methodist Healthcare System is the largest provider of health care in South and Central Texas with 28 facilities, including nine acute care hospitals serving over 94,000 inpatients and 500,000 outpatients annually San Antonio is home to 2.5 million people and is experiencing solid economic growth in industries such as bioscience and healthcare, aerospace, IT and cybersecurity and green technologies.
