Description
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is recruiting BE/BC Pediatric Anesthesiologists to join our growing anesthesia Practice at Chippenham Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in Richmond, VA. This W2, Full-Time, Hospital-Employed opportunity is based out of Chippenham Hospital. New graduates are welcome to apply. The preferred candidate will have successfully completed an accredited fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology or has demonstrated proficiency in anesthesiology for Neonatal and Pediatric patients. In addition to Pediatric patients, the candidate must also be willing to care for adults 50 percent of the time. Highlights/Qualified Candidates: Staffing model of 10 General Anesthesiologists, 3 Pediatric Anesthesiologists, and 25 CRNAs Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship preferred or Pediatric proficiency in lieu of fellowship Cases may include general surgery, ENT, PDA ligations, orthopedics, and MRI. Average 70-80 pediatric cases a month; 40% 2 years old and under. Must cover both Adult and Peds Cases. About 50/50. 70% supervision and 30% doing your own cases. Anesthesiologists typically work 45 – 50 hours a week
