A School of Medicine and Cancer Institute are jointly seeking BC/BE Neuro-Oncologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

The successful candidate will practice in the area of neuro-oncology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed neurology residency program, as well as neuro-oncology fellowship program.

The Department of Neurology offers patients a full spectrum of innovative therapies for neurologic disease, including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, headache, immunology, and movement disorders. We are certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Center.

The Cancer Institute is one of the country's premier cancer treatment centers. Multidisciplinary medical teams use the latest cancer therapies, sophisticated technologies, and patient driven research to deliver the best possible treatment in state-of-the-art facilities operated by the University. We offer treatment to those in West Virginia as well as patients from five border states. We have a very active clinical trials program, pharmaceutical studies, and emerging statewide WV Clinical Trials Network.
