A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
In Joplin, Missouri, visitors can explore a variety of attractions. The hospital is a fast-paced, high acuity, and busy level II trauma with 240 beds. The hospital sees 14,000 cases a year. Cases include General, Endo, Neuro, Cardiac, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Pain, ENT, Vascular, Podiatry, OB, GYN, Urology, Pediatrics, and Plastics. CRNAs work in a mix of a care team model and independent work. There are 11 POS from 7 - 3 and 5 POS from 3 - 7. There are a total of 11 ORS; 2 Endo, 1 OB, and 8ORs. There are 7 OR surgery centers operating Monday - Friday 7 AM - 5 PM, typically working 8s. Call will approximately be once a week for 1st or backup. The schedule is 4x10s. The credentialing timeframe is about 4 - 8 weeks but temps can be granted.
