Description
Penn Highlands Healthcare, a four hospital, 537 bed integrated healthcare delivery system located in West Central Pennsylvania is seeking a dynamic Addiction Medicine physician to lead our team of primary care and pain management providers in support of an aggressive expansion of services to include Addiction Medicine. With over 363 Physicians and 130 advanced practice providers on staff, Penn Highlands Healthcare provides direct patient care to four campuses and 70 outreach locations throughout eight counties in West Central Pennsylvania. The candidate will have a unique and challenging opportunity to develop and lead a new Addiction Medicine service line within the system, establish consultative services for the region and step into a busy office practice while directly achieving professional and personal growth in a health system that is transforming care through technology and innovative new models of care.Addiction Medicine Practice •Outpatient Only (M-F) •New Position due to Community Needs Assessment •Location: DuBois,PA •Full support staff available including primary care and pain management •100% EMR at the practice location Compensation/Benefits •MGMA base salary with RVU bonus system (no cap) •Sign on Bonus •Relocation Expenses •Monthly stipend if resident/fellow in last year •25 Days of PTO including vacation and holiday time •40 hours of CME, plus expenses of up to $3000.00 annually •Malpractice and Tail Coverage •Sick time, 10 days per calendar year •Life and Accidental Death Insurance •Health, Dental, and Vision Coverage •Short and Long Term Disability •Retirement account with matching contribution after one year The greater DuBois community offers social and economic diversity, while maintaining a traditional community feel and attractive cost of living.
