Physicians Inpatient Care Specialists (MDICS) is the largest private hospitalist group of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the State of Maryland. The day shifts are 10 hours and the night shifts are 12 hours. Each position is either exclusively day shift or exclusively night shift. As it relates to two of the hospital sites, Baltimore is close, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia are reasonably close (50 minutes), and Philadelphia is within driving distance (2 hours). What's more, Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Airport is close. In short, the Baltimore-Washington Metro Area is conveniently located and has a lot to offer.
