Coverage Needed: 7 days per week

Monday–Thursday
Friday–Sunday
Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)

Solo Coverage: Yes
Privileges: Full or temporary privileges available
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
Travel: Drive-in candidates only

Key Responsibilities
Daily rounding on post-operative vascular surgery patients
Managing consults and discharges
Providing secondary coverage for post-operative thoracic surgery patients and ICU (not primary service)
Coordinating care with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary services
Documenting care in Epic EMR

Patient Population
Adult patients only (100%)
No pediatric coverage

Requirements
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Providers with vascular, cardiovascular, or cardiothoracic surgery experience will be considered.
Board Certified
Active Maryland license (required)
DEA and CSR licenses (required)
Certifications: BLS and ACLS
Minimum 3 years of experience

Experience in vascular, cardiovascular, or cardiothoracic surgery strongly preferred
