NP / Pediatrics / Texas / Locum tenens / Hiring for Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in TX Job

Assignment Length:
3 Months Ongoing with potential option to extend

Schedule:
•  Part-Time
•  Tuesday – Thursday
•  8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
•  3 days per week
Location: San Angelo, TX

EMR:
•  Epic
•  Epic experience preferred to help the provider ramp up quickly.

Clinical Support:
•  Clinical staff support provided.

Patient Volume:
•  24–32 patients per day
•  Summer months are busier, so the census is currently on the higher end.
•  Providers should be comfortable seeing at least 24 patients per day, with the ability to manage higher volumes as needed.

Typical Scope of Practice:
•  Well-child visits
•  Same-day sick visits
•  Sports physicals
•  School/daycare physicals
•  Asthma management
•  Routine pediatric infections (ear infections, strep throat, viral illnesses)
•  Minor dermatologic conditions (eczema, rashes, impetigo)
•  General outpatient pediatric primary care
