What You’ll Do
- Assist with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, including CABG, removal of chest tubes, pulmonary artery catheters, epicardial wires, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Provide hospital rounding and assist in an outpatient clinic setting
- Take 24-hour call shifts on weekends and weekdays as scheduled
- Support surgical procedures and emergency cases as needed
- Collaborate with medical staff using Meditech and eCW EMR systems
What You Need
- Ohio medical license and current certifications required
- 1+ year surgical experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery
- Knowledge of procedures like vessel harvesting and removal of specialized devices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including long shifts and on-call duties
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
