Description
We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to provide ongoing locum coverage in Pennsylvania. Physicians will evaluate and treat a diverse adult and pediatric patient population, including trauma, acute medical conditions, surgical emergencies, and behavioral health cases.
Overview:
- Coverage is needed in 3–4 day stretches per week, with an ongoing need.
- Trauma Level II Center
- Adult/Pediatric mix: 70% Adult / 30% Pediatric
- Usually 2 APPs per shift, 1 APP typically covers overnight
- Typical cases include: Trauma (MVAs, falls, burns), chest pain, abdominal pain, stroke, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, infections, allergic reactions, ENT and orthopedic emergencies
- Procedures include airway stabilization, fracture care, casting, and emergency assessments
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Board Certified MD or DO in Emergency Medicine
- Pennsylvania medical license required (IMLC accepted)
- DEA required
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year experience
