We are seeking a Per Diem, part-time Physician (independent contractor) to provide primary care services to patient populations in a Joint Commission-certified clinic integrated with behavioral health services and operating as a patient-centered medical home with locations and opportunities in the Lancaster/Palmdale area and the San Fernando Valley. Areas of responsibility include physical examination; diagnosing, treating and prescribing medication; ordering lab and diagnostic work in coordination with the primary care director and pharmacists; providing oversight to the physician’s assistant and registered nurse practitioners; and consulting with medical specialists as needed.

Requirements
• Doctorate degree in Medicine
• Excellent leadership qualities and ability to motivate, coach and support staff
• Interest in Substance Use Disorder services to include the use of medication support such as buprenorphine and Vivitrol a plus
