Sentara RMH Medical Center is a 238-bed, not-for-profit community hospital located in the beautiful and historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. For over 100 years RMH has been delivering advanced medical care to its seven-county service area with a population close to 200,000.Annual services provided at RMH include about 16,000 inpatients, 1,700 babies delivered, 18,000 surgical procedures, 74,000 cancer treatments and more than 70,000 emergency department visits. For the eighth year in a row, the RMH Heart and Vascular Center has been ranked number one in Virginia for coronary interventional procedures by HealthGrades, the national healthcare ratings company.
In 2010, RMH opened its new, state-of-the-art hospital, located on a 254-acre site overlooking the Massanutten mountain range. This new LEED-Gold certified facility brings the latest in health and wellness to the community.
