Description
We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for ongoing locum coverage in Evansville, Indiana. This is an IR-only opportunity offering a broad range of advanced procedures with the opportunity to expand service lines.

Overview
  • Start ASAP
  • Weekday coverage with call
  • IR-only practice with little to no diagnostic radiology responsibilities
  • Approximately 15 procedures per day with a varied case mix
  • No APP/PA support
  • Call volume is variable and may range from quiet to busy
  • Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes while on call
Typical Procedures
  • Nephrostomy tubes
  • Central venous access and basic line placements
  • Image-guided biopsies
  • Drain placements
  • Kyphoplasty (required)
  • Vertebroplasty
  • Sacroplasty
  • OsteoCool (RFA)
  • TIPS placement and revisions
  • Dialysis access procedures and fistula interventions
  • IVC filter placement and complex retrievals
  • Venous interventions for acute and chronic DVT
  • Pulmonary embolism thrombectomy and thrombolysis
  • Peripheral arterial interventions
  • EVAR and mesenteric arterial interventions
  • Trauma and GI bleed embolization
  • Uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
  • Prostate artery embolization (PAE)
  • Genicular artery embolization (GAE)
  • Varicocele and pelvic congestion embolization
  • Interventional oncology procedures including chest ports, Y-90 radioembolization, chemoembolization, and tumor ablations
The practice actively supports physicians interested in developing new interventional service lines and provides the resources needed to expand procedural offerings.
