Physician / Gastroenterology / North Dakota / Locum tenens / Locum Outpatient Gastroenterology Opportunity Job

We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to provide outpatient locum tenens coverage in North Dakota. This is a fully outpatient opportunity with no call responsibilities, allowing the physician to focus exclusively on scheduled procedures.

Overview

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Comfortable performing approximately 14–16 outpatient procedures per day
• Primarily outpatient procedures including colonoscopies and EDGs
• Additional procedures may include:
  • Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
  • Foreign body removal
  • Fulguration of bleeding
  • Injection of varices
  • Esophageal dilation
  • Manometry
  • Small bowel biopsy
  • Lower GI endoscopy
  • Flexible sigmoidoscopy
  • Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
• No midlevel support in the outpatient setting
• Other physicians will typically be present

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active North Dakota medical license required
• IMLC providers accepted
• Proficient in colonoscopy and EGD procedures
